Young Adults

FCYA programs are geared for young adults with special needs and facilitate socialization with peers and young professional volunteers while engaging in a wide range of entertainment. Participants enjoy weekly activities, classes, outings, meeting new friends and exploring their Jewish heritage. The goal of this program is to give young adults with special needs the opportunity to make friends and hang out outside of the home in a fun, safe and relaxed environment.

For 2019/20 we're moving toward a membership model, where a yearly payment will give participants access to everything going on at FCYA. Members will have access to all our weekly programs and special events with no other cost of participation.

Membership is $350 for the year (or $29.16 a month for 12 months). This provides exclusive access to 28 programs and events that we have planned for this year.

The only program where members may incur an additional cost is Friendship Foodies (monthly social outings to kosher restaurants around the city), where everyone orders and pays for their own meal (and fries are on us).

To encourage maximum participation, we have kept the membership fee as low as possible, and we rely on the generous support of the community to help bridge the gap. That being said, scholarships are available for those that need it and nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds.
