Friendship Circle UES offers an innovative and meaningful work experience based out of our headquarters on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. If you work with us you will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Together, we are building a community where individuals with special needs, as well as their families, feel at home. Offering social, recreational, religious and other services for Jewish kids, teens and young adults with special needs. Our unique model pairs local teen and young adult volunteers with individuals with special needs for hours of fun and friendship at our tailor-made programs.

Program Director

Friendship Circle of the Upper East Side is seeking a Program Director to join our team. This critical role will include planning, coordinating and actively leading all weekly and seasonal programs & events. Applicants should have strong creative abilities, coupled with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Being adaptable and having high problem solving abilities is essential. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a leadership position, works in an assertive fashion, has strong interpersonal skills, is an excellent communicator and maintains cool under pressure.

This is a full time position. Salary is competitive, commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.

Director of Marketing and Communications

Friendship Circle of the Upper East Side is seeking a Director of Marketing and Communications to join our team. This role will include developing, coordinating and executing a marketing strategy and plan, using all available mediums to target our key demographics. This person will also take the lead in all communications with member families, volunteers, donors and other relevant stakeholders, related to ongoing and seasonal programs, as well as special events and campaigns.

Applicants should have strong creative abilities and exceptional writing skills, coupled with excellent organizational tendencies and attention to detail. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of and is highly skilled in copywriting, graphic design, web design, layout, and publishing. Must be strongly proficient in the use of social media platforms and social media marketing.

This is a full time position. Salary is competitive, commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
