Corporate Volunteering

🤝 Corporate Volunteering at Friendship Circle NYC

At Friendship Circle NYC, we create an inclusive community for children, teens, and adults with diverse abilities. Our corporate volunteer opportunities give teams a meaningful, hands-on way to give back while directly supporting our members and programs.

From assembling care packages and baking for our programs to volunteering alongside our neurodivergent members, your team can make a real impact while experiencing the Friendship Circle community firsthand.

Each opportunity includes a sponsorship that helps make our programs and services possible.

❤️ Why Teams Keep Coming Back

• Hands-on, meaningful volunteering

• Direct impact on the Friendship Circle community

• Opportunities to volunteer alongside our members

• A meaningful team experience

Packing with a Purpose

Duration: 60-90 Minutes

Group Size: 10-40 people, with options available for larger groups

The Experience

Your team will assemble care packages for neurodivergent children and families in the Friendship Circle community - a meaningful, hands-on way to give back and directly support our members.

Packages will be created around a specific need, theme, or upcoming holiday. Past projects have included Thanksgiving packages, birthday boxes, sensory kits, and gifts for parents.

Your team can pack the packages as a private group, or we can invite some of our neurodivergent Friendship Circle members to join and pack alongside your team. This gives your team the opportunity to engage directly with our special community while making a meaningful impact on our members.

How It Works

Your company sponsors the project, and Friendship Circle coordinates the packages based on the current needs of our members and programs. We’ll provide everything your team needs for the project and coordinate distribution of the completed packages to our community.

Sponsorship: $3,000+

Amount may vary based on group size and project scope.

Location: One of our Upper East Side locations - 419 East 77th St or 163 East 67th St

The program can also be hosted at your office upon request (additional cost may apply).

Walk Day Wonder Tent

The Experience

Bring smiles, creativity, and calm to individuals with diverse abilities and their families by hosting a themed craft or sensory tent at our annual Friendship Walk & Carnival, taking place on May 23, 2027. This hands-on opportunity gives your team the chance to connect directly with the community in a joyful, inclusive setting, while adding magic to one of our biggest days of the year.

How It Works

Your company takes the lead on designing and running an interactive craft or sensory experience. Friendship Circle provides guidance, ideas, and support to make sure the activity is accessible and meaningful for all participants. Your team staffs the tent, welcomes participants, and runs the activity on Walk Day. Your company sponsors the activity and covers supply and event logistics. Branding opportunities are available at the tent and in Walk Day materials. There’s also an option to add a fundraising component leading up to the event.

👟 Walk For Friendship

The Experience

Join us for a day of unity, inclusion, and celebration. By walking alongside individuals with diverse abilities and their families, your team becomes part of a powerful statement - one that promotes friendship, dignity, and community for all. The prospective date for the 2027 Walk for Friendship is May 23, 2027.

How It Works

Your company rallies a team to attend the Friendship Walk Opening Ceremony and walk the full route as proud supporters of inclusion. We’ll provide Friendship Walk t-shirts, and your team will have the opportunity to create branded signs and gear to represent your company with pride and visibility. There is no financial commitment required to walk - just show up, walk with us, and be part of something bigger. There’s also an option to create a team page leading up to the event to raise awareness and funds.
