Volunteering at Friendship Circle is a very rewarding experience and is also a commitment. Please know that being a FC volunteer entails: 1- Making a time commitment. It can be once a month or once a week but consistency is imperative in forming a relationship with our participants. 2- Informing us 24 hours in advance if you cannot make it to a program you are registered for. 3- Showing up on time for programs. 4- Engaging young adults with special needs in conversation or activity. 5- Putting your cell phone away. 6- Informing FC staff immediately if anything occurs that makes you uncomfortable.
